We make printed ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tiles for commercial interiors: restaurants and bars, hotels, shops, offices, schools, leisure centres and public spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Send us your drawings, your artwork or just the idea. We’ll send you a layout and a quote, make the tiles to your specification and deliver them numbered, with a fitting map for your tiler. If you’re looking for custom tiles for commercial projects that carry your own design, this is the service.
Clients include Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, where we made almost 3,000 tiles for a suite designed by Damien Hirst, with the artwork fired onto the balcony pool tiles. Ted Baker London, Zurich City Council, Greenfield High School and Rockfish restaurants all have walls with our tiles, and we made the outdoor heritage mural at Dublin Airport. We’ve been making printed tiles since 2011.
We print every design in ceramic pigments and kiln-fire it, so it becomes part of the glaze. It can’t peel, fade or wash off, and the colour has a 50-year UV guarantee, indoors and outdoors. Vinyl wraps, UV-printed tiles and painted walls keep their design on the surface, where commercial cleaning wears it away. A fired tile keeps its design for the life of the fit-out.
Glazed tiles are water resistant, resist stains and are easy to maintain, so a spill in a restaurant or a busy washroom just wipes away. That low maintenance matters for hygiene in commercial kitchens, washrooms and other wet areas, and the durability of fired ceramics is why tiles are still the standard surface in commercial environments. Our electric kiln runs on carbon-free electricity.
Porcelain for floors, and ceramic or porcelain for walls. Porcelain is denser than ceramic, with better wear and abrasion resistance, and it’s frost-proof, so it’s the right choice for high-traffic floors, wet areas, outdoor walls and pools. Ceramic suits commercial walls, splashbacks and murals, and our rustic handmade finish ceramic gives a softer look for hotels and restaurants.
Large format tiles such as 30x60cm and 60x60cm mean fewer grout lines, so a floor is quicker to fit and easier to keep clean. On high-traffic floors, grip matters as much as the design, so we make floor tiles in satin matt only.
The difference between commercial and residential tiles is mostly where they go and how they’re rated. A wall in a hotel bathroom can use the same tile as a house, while a shop floor or a hotel foyer needs porcelain with the right finish for the footfall. We’ll advise on the tile body, size and finish for each area, and tell you when a space needs a technical floor tile rather than a printed one.
Send it with the size of your wall. We check the image and reply with a layout and a free quote.
If you can send it as a file, we can put it on a tile. That might be a brand pattern repeated across a wall, a mural running the length of a corridor, a logo at the entrance, or wayfinding that matches your existing signage. Interior designers use our tiles to give a commercial interior its own character, because a stock tile looks like every other fit-out. Each project starts with a layout, so you can see the design on the wall before we make anything.
Commercial orders are priced per square metre, and the rate drops as the area grows. Returning trade customers get trade rates on our standard tiles. Our printed tiles start at £3.87 + VAT for a 10x10cm porcelain tile, and tile murals from £352.50 per m² + VAT. Orders under £100 + VAT carry a £30 + VAT setup charge.
We work with architects and interior designers who specify tiles, fit-out contractors and operators across the hospitality, retail, leisure and public sectors. You deal directly with the people who check your artwork and run your order, and we quality-check every design in Somerset before it ships. For one-off designs at home, see our custom tiles, or our printed tiles for photos and artwork.
Porcelain on the floor, and ceramic or porcelain on the walls. Porcelain is hardwearing and takes constant cleaning, and a fired design survives the cleaning products a washroom needs.
Yes, on walls. Ceramic is the standard choice for commercial walls, splashbacks and murals, while floors with heavy footfall need porcelain.
